2021 Red

2021 was a difficult vintage for later ripening red varietals in Orange as it saw many late season rain events. This meant that most varietals struggled to get sugar levels above 12 baume without the acidity completely falling off. The ripest we could get any of these varietals was the cabernet sauvignon at 12.2 baume. So this is an extremely light, crunchy and acidic red wine. Lots of dark cherry, blackberry/bramble character with plenty of greenness to keep it lively and exciting.
